Florida alligator wrestler, Venezuelan carnival worker

One of my grandfathers wrestled alligators in Florida The other one was a Venezuelan carnival worker. This is why I am crazy. No, really not true.

One either shot an alligator or had a friend who shot an alligator. I, as a kid, maybe saw a photo of a man with a dead alligator around his neck and thought the wrestling thing was true many years. He died before I lived, but in family stories he seems colorful. Still no alligator wrestling.

The other was not Venezuelan himself. He was from Georgia. He I think worked first at a carnival in Florida. As a mechanic. Not a sword swallower or trapzee artist. Then somehow offered a job in affiliated carnival in Venezuela. I’ve seen his Venezuela Registro de Extranjeros. And his red uniform. This part is true. He looks handsome in the photo.
